On Saturday January 27, 2024, the Musée régional d'art contemporain Occitanie in Sérignan will unveil the new presentation of its collections.
As is the case every year, this is an opportunity for the Mrac to completely revamp its display, proposing a new variation based on its collection, which now comprises over 560 works. The latest acquisitions are unveiled through an itinerary that moves away from traditional groupings and offers a dialogue between works by artists of different generations, providing a new perspective on the museum's collections. The display is not chronological, but rather offers formal, stylistic and aesthetic comparisons with a diversity of works (paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, installations, etc.), enabling visitors to discover some of the leading artists on the contemporary scene.
