The Hermès Foundation is holding an exhibition called "Ecology: Dialogue around Circulation", which questions the practice of ecology in art.It consists of two dialogues: a solo exhibition and a group exhibition. Following the Dialogue 1 “A New Life” exhibition by Choi Jae-eum, Dialogue 2 “A Fleeting Anchor” features four artists, Nicola Flock, Kate Newby, Yoshio Yasuo, and Rafael Zarka, to explore the platform of contemporary art. We will consider the circulation of energy generated between nature and humans, and the possibility of dialogue.
Revisiting art history, Rafael Zarka interprets the potential found in the appropriation and reuse of his past works as a process by which energy connects to new circuits, expanding the ecosystem of architecture and art.
