From April 30 to October 05 2025, Caumont-Centre d'Art honors the artist Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002). Popularized by her incredible Nanas, the Franco-American artist developed a powerful, committed universe, vibrant with energy and poetry. This exhibition highlights the influence of animals and imaginary creatures on the artist throughout her life. Through this never-before-addressed theme, the exhibition shows how her work, throughout her career, is peopled by a fascinating magical bestiary in which symbols, myths, autobiographical narrative and the legacy of Surrealism mingle.
