The Kunstraum St. Virgil presents a selection of 24 large-format works by the internationally renowned Austrian artist Peter Kogler.
Peter Kogler's multifaceted artistic work in various media is presented in a series of collages that run like a frieze through the exhibition rooms. The timeline takes us from 1984 to 2024 and includes photos, plans, sketches, installation views and prints. They tell of the work of an artist who demonstrates his unmistakable use of computer-generated images, video, sculpture, drawing and architecture - including in his collages. The chronology unfolds into a dense narrative thread and provides a view of over 40 years of Kogler's work.
