Biography
Julie Hamisky, granddaughter of Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne, worked alongside them for many years. Specializing in electroplating, she captures the fragility of botanical forms, preserving them forever in metal. Trained in Paris and Mexico, she masters a wide range of metalworking techniques that she applies to both sculpture and jewelry. Her work extends and renews the legacy of a family of artists in which nature, craftsmanship, and sculpture remain inseparable.
