Corinna Gosmaro is an Italian artist who lives and works in Paris. Her work reflects on the timeless characteristics of human beings as a cultural and global entity. She is interested in highlighting how most gaps in our understanding stem from the difficulty of breaking free from our cognitive paradigms, which often lead us to experience through a narrative that does not necessarily coincide with reality.

 

She has exhibited in many institutional spaces, including at Fondazione Memmo Rome, American Academy in Rome, Fondation Fiminco Romainville, GAMeC Bergamo, Fondazione Pastificio Cerere Rome, Schafhof Künstlerhaus Oberbayern, Freising, Museo Nazionale della Montagna Torino, Museo Michetti Francavilla a Mare. She took part in many residency programs: POUSH Paris (2023), Fonderia artistica Battaglia Milano (2022), Fondation Fiminco Romainville (2022), Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (2018). She was awarded the Talent Prize in 2018 and in 2021 the Italian Fellowship for Visual Art at the American Academy in Rome.
