Lumina: The Art of Color and Light

A work by Francisco Sobrino is featured in Lumina: The Art of Color and Light, on view at the Lucien Arkas Art Center until February 14, 2027. Bringing together 83 works from the Centre Pompidou collection, the exhibition explores artistic experimentation with color and light from the early twentieth century to the 1970s, through works by Georges Braque, Wassily Kandinsky, Joan Mitchell, Bridget Riley, and Victor Vasarely, among others. Curated by Anna Hiddleston and Noémie Fillon, it marks the beginning of a five-year collaboration between Arkas Art and the Centre Pompidou.
